For the Chevy Chase NYE event, UpBeat Orchestra will perform a balanced mix of contemporary and classics for guests ages 21 to 91 – an exciting variety of today’s latest dance fav’s, and the timeless classics, including Swing Classics, for example, Sinatra swing (“Way You Look Tonight,” “Fly Me To The Moon,” etc.), Bobby Darin (i.e., “Beyond The Sea”), Louie Armstrong, “In The Mood,” etc., UpBeat’s Motown R&B Medley (all of the infectious dance classics from the Temptations to Aretha Franklin), Twist and Shout Medley, timeless dance classics such as “Oh What A Night” and “Brown Eyed Girl,” UpBeat’s fun-interactive rendition of “Shout,” etc., 70’s party classics, such as September, 80’s Retro such as Don’t Stop Believing, Michael Jackson hits such as Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough, and top 40 formats – a tasteful program of Contemporary ranging from “I Got A Feeling” (Black Eyed Peas) to “Happy” (Pharrell Williams).
